Prince William proposes to his long time girlfriend Kate Middleton. The 28-year-old Berkshire beauty, whose parents run a children’s party supply business, is apparently descended from the 14th-century monarch King Edward III and his wife Queen Phillipa. How convenient!

Wow ... that definitely does not give her design team much time to plan the most extravagant wedding to hit London since Princess Diana’s marriage to Prince Charles.
